Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
From the first page it has 85% of the drawing done, but nobody to code it.
Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
Apologies for the double post bump, but this seems to have been really quiet of late, has there been anymore progress?
Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
I'm sure this topic would be the first place anyone would know about it

I'm sure I will code it using NML when the time comes.

Well if you need any help with anything to move this along a bit swifter, I am at your beck and call.
Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
Problem with NML is that it can't do stations yet. I'm sure it will some day, but from what I've heard it's a tricky thing to implement.

As I said on IRC, gives me the excuse I need for a while!FooBar wrote:Problem with NML is that it can't do stations yet. I'm sure it will some day, but from what I've heard it's a tricky thing to implement.

Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
I cry a little bit everytime i work on my Uk scenario but dont have these stations to play with, how far off is NML Station implementation?
Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
far. As in there's no indication that it's being worked on.
Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
And unfortunately until NML station implementation is done, or soem kind soul volunteers to code these in NFO, this set probably won't be going anywhere fast..
Though I shall admit I took a look at the tracking table last night, and have thought of a few additions... TBC..

I'm having a poke around NFO, mainly motivated by trying to help. Dose anybody know of a good guide to the actions involved in station tiles?
Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
Only just seen this went unanswered, here is a link to the newgrf specs, you can see station within the boxes for each action on this page:Ovenbaked wrote:I'm having a poke around NFO, mainly motivated by trying to help. Dose anybody know of a good guide to the actions involved in station tiles?

Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
I'm loving this idea. Especially the platforms not being on both sides of all tracks. On a real station it will (almost) always be either an island or only on the edges.
I hope you draw some passengers so a station with a lot of people waiting will also show a lot of people on the platforms (like some other NewGRF stations do).
Keep up the good work!

Hello,
I am looking for long "island stations" for the construction of a large city whose train stations to 80% of island stations there.
Can someone give me a hint? BMSS she has, but not published.

Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
I believe "Project Generic Stations" has them -- this download here I think has those platforms: viewtopic.php?p=268709#p268709Streckenläufer wrote:Hello,

Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
GRF artists often step away from island stations, because the "empty" area between two tracks would be rather large, creating a bad impression (allegedly)
many large stations here have no "island platforms", but platforms on both sides, typically one used for passengers and other for mail/baggage (when that was still typically handled by trains 20-ish years ago)

Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
I'd been the first station in the Screenshot 1 thread (2 track terminus station with central platform and canopy) enough.
But, unfortunately, does not the download link jvassie's.
Would be very nice if these sprites would continue.
I know in our region of Europe hardly railway stations where trains are operating on both sides (passenger exit on the left, right post).
That was really common in the U.S. (to date).
# Super Cheese,
Thank you worked as an emergency measure.

Re: [BMSS] British Modular Stations Set
BMSS is still in development, don't worry, just not in a state that is able to be released yet.

Hello Ameecher,
good to hear that work is under way, but please remember that the years go by quickly and we have bums flying trains.
And they can stop anywhere.
