I don't know if this will help you guys, but here's the nfo for the HEQS RV set. It's quite well commented and includes both simple and complicated code. Feel free to reuse my code, preferably under GPL (are you planning to GPL your set?) :)

If you want to look at simple trucks, skip to sprite 1849 or line 3830.

If you want to look at complex articulated RVs, with things like
- different livery according to cargo
- different capacity according to date
then have a look at the various bulldozers or the fourtrac.

I can't help you code the Romanian set, but if you've got a problem I've solved before, I'll try and help you figure it out.

Thank you very much for the help! But I can't use the nfo, I'm using only grf maker for coding, and my problem is that I can't code trucks with trailers... But in the end somebody who wants to help me.

You can still get tips and ideas from the NFO, although it might need a lot of reading in the Wiki too...

You can also use raw nfo In GRFMaker to create things that are not implemented in GRFMaker. In the long run, it is probably easier to code directly in NFO, though (although I prefer GRFMaker).

Looks pretty good so far. You could probably get it looking better, but you will spend a long time tweaking offsets :shock:

You might find callback 11 useful. You'll need to add it yourself, I guess it might not be possible with GRFMaker (haven't tried though). http://wiki.ttdpatch.net/tiki-index.php ... allback_11_
Sprite 853 in my HEQS nfo might give you clues.

I like the flashing lights. I was thinking of the same thing for HEQS vehicles, but I couldn't find an action colour sequence that looked right to me (my vehicles all have orange beacons, as used in the UK).

I guess it might not be possible with GRFMaker
The GRFMaker can make lot of things, and there is a list with all callbacks in the program. I'm now learning how to use them.

Hello to everybody!

After a long time of work I release the:
Road Vehicles in Romania 0.6.0-beta

Yes, it is a beta version. My first truck with trailers are in this version, five new Roman Diesel trucks. Of course, the first part of the truck, turns separately from the trailer. Unfortunately I couldn't resolve in the GRFMaker to the vehicles work properly in the vehicle list, when I buy them. So, first time when you buy a timber or steel truck, you'll get an error massage, but then you can play without any serious problem. The problem is that, I can't make that the trailer appears in the vehicle list, without that error massage. But the trucks without the trailer in the vehicle list are very annoying.
If you find any other problem with the grf please tell me.
So, this set includes the already known buses, and now the Roman Diesel trucks.
The set is compatible with the temperate climate, and playable with OTTD 0.7.X versions.

We can help you get that fixed ;)

Here's a clue towards having the trailer appear in the buy menu:

DJ Nekkid has a solution to the error message. He'll probably popup and post it, otherwise I'll dig it out and stick it here. Or you can figure it out from the HEQS code (sprite 2452 at line 4800 would be a good place to look)

How you say Andy? You know, I code my trucks with GRFMaker. I tried to select nine sprites in the sprite-block, and then in the vehicle-list sprite block and the program doesn't allow to make the grf, because it sais that the number of the selected sprites must be 8, 16, 32 and so on.
Can I fix the problem in GRFMaker somehow?

The way I do it is to define one more 8-sprite block, containing only the depot view and very small (1x1) sprites for the rest:
