Forum for OpenTTD servers

I didn't find any place to discuss specific OpenTTD servers (or spam my new server ). I think it deserves it's own subforum and I'm surprised there isn't one.

I know many servers have separate websites, forums and IRC channels, but I really don't understand why there isn't a place to discuss all of this here. Once again, sorry if this has been discussed, but I didn't find anything.

Maybe the demand isn't high, but there must be some?

Quite honestly, a proper subforum with official threads for servers sounds like a good idea. The reason we don't have many such topics here today is because people keep it at their own sites. With a proper place to keep such threads, you would be able to discuss past games and schedule future sessions as well as being able to perhaps find a game script server of your liking.

I'm all for this as long as we can find a good place to create the section without cluttering too much. We already have many sections today and adding more for the sake of having more isn't always a great idea.

So um, my servers are up and I really want to point people to somewhere they can discuss them. What would currently be the best place for that in your opinion?

Currently I think it would be a single thread you create in 'General OpenTTD' which you can use to announce changes and people ask questions about your server.

I do agree that servers might be worth their own page - this could also be good to answer some questions of people who are considering joining, and also announce their status.
