Ah, but what if somebody had a girlfriend but not a boyfriend? For instance, I do not feel the need to post in the girlfriend thread, but it is a fact that I do not have a boyfriend! The fact that I don't actually want a boyfriend is irrelevant (I don't really swing that way, I'm afraid.)
