I'd better hurry then...
Some money should be heading your way right now.

Should be some money on its way across the sea.

Hi Owen, is it possible for me to do a monthly Direct Debit?
I have 2 reasons:
1, by sending ie: £5 a month I can afford to help the forum more regularly and in the long run more substantially.
2, Being a pensioner, donating little, but often, helps me sort out my budget too.
Keep up the Good Work, it is appreciated.

A standing order is likely easier to set up (and involves no fees), but if you would prefer to pay by direct debit, I can set up a GoCardless account for that purpose. If you would like to set up a standing order, then just let me know - I can PM you my bank details. A few people do contribute regularly like this, which is a great help, so I do appreciate your support.
I'll hopefully get the total updated tonight or tomorrow, just need a chance to sit down at the computer at home to add up the figures!

Hi Owen, if OTTD and Forums are separate, regarding donations, does that mean that we need to donate to each separately?
I can pay using standing Order or DD, which ever suits you. S.O. is dead easy to set up, I only need your receiving details.
Cheers

£20, just to save you some currency exchange effort
By the way, the monthly option sounds nice. Will it go via PayPal or some other means?

You can donate to both at once - just let me know how you'd like the money split.Oletimer wrote:Hi Owen, if OTTD and Forums are separate, regarding donations, does that mean that we need to donate to each separately?
I'll PM you my bank details and you can set up a standing order, if that's good for you. Thanks very much for your support!
If you're in the UK, a standing order is quite easy. For people outside the UK, PayPal would be best - just let me know if you'd like to set up a subscription, and I can provide you with the details.siu238X wrote:By the way, the monthly option sounds nice. Will it go via PayPal or some other means?

Well, I'm very pleased to announce that, with that last donation from AntoninKyrene, we have reached and even exceeded our target for the year! £506.68 will now help keep the forums running, along with the advertising revenue, over the next year. Thank you once again for all your support everybody. It's great to have reached the target so quickly (last year it took until the 20th of January!), and thank you for keeping the forums going.
Cheers,

Dear Owen Rudge,
Can you please PM me your bank account nr.?
I do not do online payments ever and my bank account will never be set up this way neither for personal reasons.
Also, is it be possible to devide whatever I send you between forum, OpenTTD and openttcoop, or can you do only forum and OpenTTD?
After consuming massive amounts of yours and theirs bandwidth during the past five years, I think it is time to give back something more than patches alone while I can.
Thank you in advance for you reply.
ps:
would you perhaps have an idea what it would cost extra for wiring money from Belgium to your place so I can add that to the figure I have in mind?

I donated a little something myself and made an account here to let you know. I wish I could do more but things here in Greece are a little tough right now.
I'm a lurker in these forums and have enjoyed OTTD very much. Thanks for all the fan.
