Username change requests

Technically, it could be done, but we do require users to have a name change to include a "Formerly known as X" line in their signature for a few months at least, so it might semi-defeat the purpose of it. Plus, all your old posts would still be quoted by others as Dave Worley. If you still want to go through with it though, then I guess we can.

If he keeps the same avatar, I think he's recognizable enough for us to skip the "Formerly known as X" line, considering he seems to have valid reasons.

And btw, wouldn't a word censor be able to rever all posted Dave quotes, by chance?

Perhaps, but rules are rules. And the line is only meant to be in there for a short while, so it's not too bad.

How about some anagrams? You can keep it simple and go with something along the lines of Dare Wovely or Lordey Wave. You can get slightly more complex if you choose and go with something like Lord Weavey or Ya Eve World. Then of course there is my personal favorite: Yard Vole Dew. No offense intended Dave, you just have a great name for anagrams.
