Crossing tunnels
also in the editor is not possible to place them, i think that devs have done this to don't allow to start an "editor cheated" map

I think that all crossing tunnels longer than 5 squares should not be cosidered as a cheat.

I doubt ... the main thing is to get straight line between tunnels ... and count speed of the train,etc so to get a time after which the train will leave the tunnel ... only thing would be to display somehow it's possition in train windowAkalamanaia wrote:agreed. well .... in theory ... tunnels can have curves or can go to any depth ... so this thigns can be virtual .... I even have nice idea for a price, normal price is X diffirence or Y diffirence but in new featrure it would cost X diffirence + Y diffirnece + Z diffirnece (where Z is diffirence from the highest and lowest point between both exits of tunnels) so that curved tunnels and those below the highes mountains aswell those below water or valleys would cost the most

Yes, but that also means that not both tunnels need to be long.
Only the one that goes beneath the other has to have a certain length, so you can imagine it at a different lower level.

That is correct.
You can even have two or more trains in the tunnel at the same time, and they still won't crash.
Only when they come out at the same time they crasch.

i'm searching pictures of road tunnels intersections, i know that there are some in Italy, in the big cities, but i didn't found anythinglucaspiller wrote:I think all tunnels crossing should be a cheat unless they are on a different level.
