I don't actually now how you could progress from these shots. Some of the most beautiful in terms of layout and eyecandy that I have ever seen

Indeed lovely screenshots. I'm curious about your newgrf selection.

I recognize MariCo, OpenGFX+Landscape, SwedishHouses, NorthAmericanCity(?), NuTracks, ISR, BK Tunnels. some of the DWE NewGRFs,...
Not sure about: trains, ships (FISH?), signals, (NA?)roads...

The first shot with the hot air balloon in is one of the BEST screenshots I have EVER seen WITHOUT EXCEPTIONS.

It was so transcendently excellent it brought tears to my EYES!

The FerTrans has a new job.
When we have agreed to it, we could not even think that it would be so difficult. Our new location is... in mountainous desert. There are only one big lake, a few small towns, a few workers, and almost no gasoline and coal. No doubt, it was hard.

I disagree, if you're trying to replicate the continent at least, and even in London, colour light signals started appearing fairly early (especially the continent).
