Hello Purno.
I have a question. All 3 trains are non-electric or you didn´t use the Electrified Tracks grf?

There's a sign at the right-top-corner which says "This is only a preview", which means it's just a photoshopped picture. (Fake!) I took a screenshot of the empty track and then used MS Paint to instert the train sprites. This is a preview of how it should look once it has been coded.

The only thing I don't understand here, is why it produces different amounts of livestock and grain - the actual amount is interesting, but not remarkable, but the fact it produces different amounts of each :|

Yeh, but WHY is it producing so much? I have a small map with one of each industry, the oil wells, farm and coal mine all produce very large amounts of "stuff". While the iron ore mine and the forest just remain normal. I'm just wondering why is is producing so much, and why is it for only these industries?

On mine, farms produce very little as do the forests and ore mines(30 tonnes of each, even coal mines produce little). But 1 farm seems to make A LOT, like it would have all production from whole damn map O.o.

Perhaps there is a set amount that is averaged out over the industries, taking into account the random losses and gains in production. If you only have one farm, and no other industry, then it will incur all of the random production increases. Figures that if you have very few industries, they will all produce a little more...

Perhaps it's all random, and we are just chasing ghosts?

@ Purno, real nice work, cant wait for the release of the different sets :D

I had some farms who produced a great amount of grain and lifestock, but production has collapsed and never came back to the same volume. :x I guess, just wait a few decade and production ll fall.

Purno.

I noticed a small error in your previews...

the EMU 680 should be 7 vehicles in total.
Also on an electric track (no so worried about that)

Fixed pic.

As per the new realism guide, I am keeping older coaching stock running around (as is realistic), rather than just making them vanish. Here we see a V100 shunting some coaches back to the sheds at Innsheim.

For the new steel mill to operate well, Iron Ore needs to be brought in to supply it. Fortunatly, it was a simple addition of another train to one of the existing wood lines.

Cornelius & Western

Post by cornelius »

Uncle Cornelius has been packed off to the Wild West to try and replicate the success of his European relatives. Here is his story...

En route we pass a coal train headed by a Mikado, waiting to join the "main" line from a mineral branch. Uncle Cornelius is already boring us with his war stories.

Finally we reach the 'up country' end of the line at Error Town. The amount of passengers waiting here don't justify extending the K4's much faster service just yet.

At New Little Altoria we must change to a cheapo Doodlebug for the onward journey. Uncle is moaning about these new fangled trains costing too much money to run. Another coal train, hauled by a more powerful Mountain class, rattles past.

Hey Raichase, i like the way your money supply went up drastically, right when you needed to build that canal :D

Here are some pictures of a local passenger service i running. It goes in a simple loop through 3 towns.
