Could someone tell me which port I should use to set up a server, or how to change the port?

I'm running r1092...but not running a game (I'm going to bed soon).

Is there btw a way to create binairy patch, for the users who don't have to ability to use cygwin/linux?
It would be nice if it could. (And spreading them around ;))

-edit- Hmmz, that would be the nightly builds...but the last one for windows is the 11th december one. Bah I wanna spread the latest versions...

would the owner of openttd.com be willing to give out sub-domains to permanent game hosters? eg. nickname.openttd.com ? for example my good mate Moriarty

well there are Mac nightlies too. u can use those.
And as they are now built at the same time as the windows ones, they should be the same version, thus u can play against windows players (that is if you'll deign to be seen near windows users ;) hehe ).

sionide: i don't think the username.openttd.org idea is necessary for near-permanent servers. truelight has made a number of updates that should aid the master-server in its development. once there is a master-server there won't be a need for this.
