Alright, I decided to distract myself a little more from what I'm supposed to be working on and instead made the screenshots for this thread :lol:
So here I present:

Unnamed CargoDist Game
Wow, what a great name. Indeed I didn't even choose a company name in that game, I just started to build as Wrundingworth Transports.

I played about 30 years into this game, from 1950 to 1979, using my favorite sets (basically the same as the previous game "CargoMovers" in this thread). At the beginning I looked at the map and sketched out a network to connect the bigger cities on the map, but I ended up only connecting the first three cities with a intercity line, and building metros and trams in the three cities.
So what I'm going to show you in the following posts, is a slideshow of images of how the three cities developed.

First, here's the map of how the game looked in the end, with the CargoDist connections.

In the rest of this post and the following posts, I'll post screenshots of the three cities from different years. Since the screenshots from one city were taken from exactly the same spot, you can open them all in new tabs, and switch between them to see how the city developed.
The first two cities, Minningwell Ridge and Wrudingworth are rather boring, I'll save Neham for the end ;) I also made a little goodie with the map of Neham, will show it in the last post.

And here's the promised goodie: A network map of Neham with the different lines :)

There are the following lines:
* Intercity (Blue)
* Metro 1 (Dark Green)
* Metro 2 (Light Green)
* Tram 1 (Brown)
* Tram 2 (Yellow)
* Tram 3 (Red)
The gray stuff symbolizes a walkway connecting different parts of a station.

I used the path tool in GIMP. The control points for the paths were set manually, yes.
