More problems with non-stop orders

Post by MrMox »

This is r12639 with "TTDPatch compatible non-stop handling" set to on.

Train goes straight from order #1 to order #4. I would have expected #1 (to #2 ?) to #3 to #4.

I click once on "non-stop" for order #2. The order text remains the same. However now the train actually executes orders #1, #2, #3 and #4 in succession.

I click "service" for order #2. Again the orders goes straight from #1 to #4 (should have been #1 to #3 to #4) except in the case there the trains needs servicing. Then the orders go from #1 to #2 to #3 to #4 (as expected).

So far I haven't dared click non-stop for the waypoint. :) Should that even be allowed - is there a difference between "go non-stop via" and "go via"?

Dumb question but what is non-stop. I have never used it before.

With "TTDPatch compatible non-stop handling" set to off an order like "go non-stop to A" means go directly to station A without stopping at any stations passed on the route to A (as it would otherwise do).

With "TTDPatch compatible non-stop handling" set to on only stations in the orders list are stopped at. The order "go non-stop to A" means pass through A without stopping. A in effect becomes a waypoint.

For all I can see it works as expected in r12647.
