Map
Here is the default map of Southern Dorset
The route of the railway lines is Fairly obvious from christchurch to hamworthy as the lines is still there but you may find the old lines more difficult as they are no longer in situ but all the ambankments and cuttings are there for you to build on and the buildings have been cleared where the railway lines should go I have deselected all of the mods on the object list so there shouldnt be any problems but if there are let me know
cheers

Thanks. Meanwhile, I have my own offering.
You'll definitely need the BRSet. Other mods may be needed, I'm not entirely sure (sorry).

Map
Cheers I like bournemouth lol
and that map of the south looks pretty good!
The one thing i find annoying though is the insane expansion of the towns
because it take up all the space of the landscape and it only really takes one station to turn a village into a metropolis over about 10 years if the services are good. but anyway ace map
bravo!

Re: Map
Near the beggining of the game I had to put trams in Winchester, Southampton, Bournmouth and Dorchester to help them expand quickly so that i could make my company profitable when the towns expanded I decided to remove them however growth still continues.S&D Crazy! wrote:Cheers I like bournemouth lol

that works, the city won't connect to the one way roads, so are unable to expandStormscape wrote:Actually, it's quite easy to handicap towns, at least space wise.
Put a one way road around the town. The town will never expand beyond this road, basically allowing you to do all sorts of things. Engineer a town into the shape of a house or a train!
and even if they do connect to the road, they cannot build new roads from the one way roads, so are limited to building along the one way roads, and any roads you build
very nice trick & find

Yeah, I've got them, but it's another type of bridge it wants...can't remember what. I'll just look around for more bridges!

After over a year of abstinence from both forums as well as TTD and Locomotion (due to university...), I picked up the latter again, quite successfully
First of all: Hello forums! Is everyone still alive, how have things been? Does anyone remember me?
See for yourself, I used the BR Pack, the Plane Pack as well as the earth slopes...
I started in 1980 with lumber transports to the paper mill and connected all forests one-by-one to the station at Inverness. Next came the dual track line to Edinburgh for paper, which is now used by quite a few other trains (goods from up north, chemicals to Perth, etc etc. The next big thing was the steel/goods production cycle - started pretty late, but with a better layout to start with... More or less by chance an irregular shuttle flight to the islands turned into a full-scale passenger and mail service to the two resort towns, you can clearly see which ones those are
Well, take a look, tell me what you think, improve something, whatever.

(If anyone read until now, I might just ask one tiny question related to my game):
Check out the Concorde with the extremely low reliability - its been circling for over fifty years now, and I did not manage to get it to land, or for that matter to shoot it down... Any solution to this? I thought demolishing the airport would help, but since its blocking the demolition itself... no chance there.
Cheers,
Downmaster aka Nik
