ICJ LAWSUIT
Plaintiffs: AOC, KEPCO, Kiran National Weather Association, Agni Aeronautics, Kiratel, Kira Airlines
Indictee: the Dutch government
We, the plaintiffs, claim that the Dutch government, trough the Dutch Army Cyber Division, has violated Kiran sovereignty and private properties owned by plaintiffs, by intentionally seizing these properties and holding them against the wishes of their rightful owners. These properties include all plaintiffs' satellites.
Evidence #1: Log books of all satellites' controls which show illegal hacking of access codes, seizing controls and unwanted operations being executed during this seize time.
Evidence #2: the explicit confession of the Dutch government, quote:
Therefore, we request compensation for all damages that have been directly caused by this event and we demand a compensation in the ammount $3.5 billion for direct financial damages in plaintiffs' businesses, a compensation for image damages in the ammount of $2 billion and a formal apology from the Dutch government.

In accordance to international laws, it is illegal to unilateraly seize foreign assets. Also, the plaintiffs have been caused financial and image damages due to severe problems in executing their everyday businesses and obbligations towards their clients.The Dutch Army's Cyber Division has issued a press release stating that they have taken over control of all satellites in Lower Earth Orbit. Using data gathered by the Echelon system they hacked into the control and command software of each satellite and have assumed control in an effort to position and manouver the satellites so that they will not be affected by the debris.

The Dutch government does not wish to bring this case to the ICJ and therefore the ICJ shall have no jurisdiction in this case.
7. The jurisdiction of the Court comprises all cases which the parties refer to it and all matters specially provided for in the treaties and conventions in force.

ICC is not an option either, check the resolution in which the ICC was founded: the ICC can only rule in a limited number of warcrimes, also the ICJ won't work because only states are parties in front of the ICJ, forgot to mention that.

What court would have jurisdiction IRL? Some kind of "International Trade Court" or something similar?

Re: The Nations Game - International Council of Nations thre
The plaintiffs withdraw their lawsuit against the Dutch as clearly no international court will accept jurisdiction.
"We are immensely saddened that no international institution is prepared to be bold enough to take matters in its hands and send a clear message to all that abuses are unacceptable. We have been wronged and there is no way to get compensated. In this light, we withdraw our joint lawsuit, we will no longer request justice.
However, we must point out that this is a precedent that we will certainly use in our further businesses troughout the world. The commerce morale has been evidently shredded to dust so we will behave the same having no consideration for other nations' problems. Whatever we decide in our lines of business, however rude and inconsiderate we'll become, others will simply have to swallow it."

The New British Empire IS willing to take up the case for AOC, and the other Plantiffs, we offer a fair Trial, and can charge a Defendant, even if not in attendance.

Re: The Nations Game - International Council of Nations thre
And what or who can guarantee that the defendant will ever pay any damages in case it gets sentenced to do so? The Dutch government is not obbligated to follow British laws.
Re: The Nations Game - International Council of Nations thre
The fact that the Dutch would lose credit throughout the World if they were Charged and didn't accept the Charge would be by far enough reason.
Re: The Nations Game - International Council of Nations thre
I have a question regarding Resoultion #4 (Nuclear Weapons)
When I formed The New Brirish Empire, I seized all WMDs (Nuclear, Chemical, Bio-Weapons) within my Nation, Many were badly damaged, we gave them the Kiran's to dispose of, BUT, we kept the 2 Usable ones in an extremely secure location.
Legally, we are allowed to build Facilities to build more, aren't we?
O/T - I'm not planning it, just asking.

International law is something that is always open for interpretation, but I can't see any problems with what you describe

Re: The Nations Game - International Council of Nations thre
You see, my interpretation is, I am allowed to build the facility, and expand my WMD Arsenal if I so wish

Re: The Nations Game - International Council of Nations thre
The Dutch Empire disagrees and turns to the dictionary for an answer
Also resolution #4 calls upon nations to decrease the amount of thermonuclear warheads they have; the Dutch Empire reduced it's stockpile by > 30%, Kira has also seen a great reduction in the number of warheads. We therefore feel - and we do so very strongly - that the word maintain should be interpreted as regular maintenance, replacement of warheads etcetera, as long as the number of warheads does not grow.Verb
maintain (third-person singular simple present maintains, present participle maintaining, simple past and past participle maintained)
- (obsolete, transitive) To support (someone), to back up or assist (someone) in an action. [14th-19th c.]
- To keep up; to preserve; to uphold (a state, condition etc.). [from 14th c.]
- To declare or affirm (a clause) to be true; to assert. [from 15th c.]

Resolution #15 regarding intermediate range nuclear weapons
The International Council of Nations,
CONSCIOUS of the fact that some member countries currently posess intermediate range nuclear weapons;
REALISING that the use of intermediate range nuclear weapons could pose a threat to global stability and security and that such weapons are tactically likely to be deployed;
REALISING that intermediate range weapons used in conflict will not allow the civilian population to be alerted to their deployment in time;
DEFINES nuclear weapons as:
a) shells, missiles, bombs or other munitions which purpose is to initiate a nuclear chain reaction of any kind when detonated or otherwise activated on earth or in space;
b) radioactive materials or any objects containing radioactive material which do not initiate a nuclear chain reaction but which purpose is to distribute radiation to cause physical harm;
DEFINES intermediate range weapons as weapons that have a maximum range greater than 500 kilometers but smaller than 5000 kilometers, calculated from the point of initial seperation with the launcher;
BANS the storage, development or acquisition of intermediate range nuclear weapons;
COMPELS member nations to dispose of intermediate range nuclear weapons in a safe manner within 24 months after this resolution has passed;
