EEK! Is there any way to recover games accidently deleted?

Deleted within ttd, they dont appear inside recycle bin!

Is there any way?...

Do you have Norton antivirus with recycle bin protection? that might have saved them. (Long time since I used NAV, so I'm not sure)

Apart from that, I think you'd have to get some kind of professional data recovery tool - probably not worth it for a couple of TTD saves.

Well i didnt, my brother did, deleted them all. I lost them all! now all i got is the ones i posted here

Yes you will. You won't be able to use the DB Set XL or the US Set though, and some other sets won't work too well, but otherwise, it should be fine.

Hmm, DBsetXL works for me.
That is on OS/2 of course. :D

Rylix, I suggest you get back at your brother, and delete all his saves. Then put a user/ Admin password on your comp so he can't do it again.
I get lost with all my saves in my folder, so i just delete, and start all over again, its alright.

Well, it doesn't quite work properly then. ;) I haven't actually tested it myself... OpenTTD lacks callbacks, among other things, which means tenders and so on don't automatically attach or change livery, etc.

Ill go look up what dbset is, and d/l openttd.

btw when a new version is out how do they update it?

And does ttdpatch work on it? or are the features already in?

Have you tried an "undelete" recovery tool ?

hostility? i really think all the programmers and graphics artists should work on the one. Only problem with that is deciding whats next, buts its better then a billion half finished projects.
