Post by ghostknife »

More trains for the flat earth society.

As you can hopefully see, two different liveries for the class 50.
As with the class 31's the livery is linked to the dates that they appear in the game.
If you want them e-mail to msts2locomotion@yahoo.co.uk and I will send you the .dat files in zipped format.

The class 45's are not done yet but will be sometime next week (hopefully)and will be advertised from this forum thread.

Thanks to Mark Shipman and JD Jonny who did the real work by creating the the MSTS converted here.

Maby reload the page a couple of times until you see an image, almost white with a small screenie of 2 engines, if not, then I don't know it anymore.

Yeah, but the locos in the screenshot are class 50s. He's still working on the class 45.

Thats so obvious it hurts, can't believe I did'nt figure it out.
By the way, the BR blue class 45 is now done, and the green one just needs finishing touches. Release will follow soon.

Class 45 conversions are now completed and have come out particularly well.

Click on the above image to enlarge it.

The files are in .rar form and need extracting and then placing into the locomotion object data file.

Sizing and brightening is done via sfm24 program (the hardest part).
The palette I use is 'lomoveh' applied to the BMPs via a script in PSP8.
Also sometimes use PSP8 scripts to modify colour tones before applying the palette in order to get a different palette colour applied when the palette script is run.
Bmp to Png is done via PSP3.
