Drag and drop tunnel length

Drag and drop tunnel length
I was thinking of feature when one would be able to drag and drop desired tunnel length. Starting on the slope as regular tunnel (or maybe even flat land, imagine it as reversed bridge building) and where one releases the button it will level down the ground for new tunnel exit. I think this would be very good tool to have.
Re: Drag and drop tunnel length
Agreed, this would be handy, I'd use it.

Re: Drag and drop tunnel length
That other topic seems a bit similar, but it's not really the highlighting that I'm interested in, more having the ground lowered/raised for you so you can easily get the tunnel length you want.
e.g you want a tunnel 4 tiles long, so you lower the place where you want it to start, then drag 4 tiles with tunnel tool, and when you release the land is lowered/raised at the other end to make a tunnel 4 tiles long.
The way it is now, where you have to count the tiles and try and lower the ground for the other end to get the length you want is not so simple, and often I end up having to rebuild it coz I lowered the land in the wrong spot and made it too short or long. Bridges (dragging) on the other hand are much easier, and it's almost impossible to get the length wrong unless the cat walks on your keyboard or something. For long drags (bridges), that measure tooltip thing is handy to show you how far too.

Re: Drag and drop tunnel length
Yea Nommy got it. The other topic is highlighter (as i understand). While this suggestion would directly modify terrain using tunnel tool.
Thanks for adding tooltip note, i forgot about it.
