Industrial revolution.

Here the same plant viewed over time, as you can see it has grown with 3 tiles, this was and is the intention, but the place has to be claimed at the beginning of the plant placement in the game.

Excellent ideas and graphics as always Zimmlock!

Question - since this is a new graphic of the factory, would either the black helicopter or the black jet still randomly destroy it? And if so, would the graphics be built as it was before destruction or would it be randomly rearranged?

I can't give a answer to this question, ill have to ask my coder Csaboka what ll happen.

I am not familiar with Pikkabirds Industry set, this factory ll first be part of TTRS-v3, after release Pikkabird can do his own request to me :wink:

Coal mine too? Why not release the town first, then to a TTRSISv1 (Industry Set) :D

Ok, now more seriously.

I'm very sorry about the set being delayed. The evil thing called Real Life keeps interfering and leaves little time for coding the set. I've already coded most of the buildings (only the ECS statues are missing yet), but after that, I still need to code the bank, the house names, the road bridge and some other things. Maybe it would be better to separate the TTRS-style industries into a separate GRF. This way, people could still choose alternative industry sets (UKRSI or the ECS sets) without difficulty, and we wouldn't delay TTRS3 any more.

After having a small conversation with Csaboka it seems to be a better idea to put the industrys in a new GRF. I prefered to have it with TTRS-v3 but Csaboka told me that its better to have them seperatly so other industry GRF can be used. I agree 100% with that so a new set is being developed.
For now I ll draw replacments for the original TTD Industrys, the set ll be named: Total Industry Replacement Set TIRS.
Because of all drawing and coding that has to be done, you fine people ll have to wait before you ll have "my" industrys emerging in your games.
But dont be to said, for now we can look forwards to the release of TTRS-v3.

I am not sure we ll make it, Csaboka had a lot of real live obstructions and is running behind the schedule. The set has to be tested to, be patient, it ll come.

I'm planning to release a beta version that can be tested for some time. As the saying goes, more eyes see more, and we can discover problems more easily if many players are beta testing it at the same time.

I'm not sure I'll finish things in November, though. I have a lot of real-life work to do, and however sad this may sound, TTRS3 has fairly low priority right now :(
