I been fiddling with some objects from City Objects Created by Flogeza and Hans Kruzer.

Question is are these good enough or are they bit too wide?

I think one lane would be wide enough (now it is two-lane), maybe also use grey concrete/asfalt.
Making them narrower though leaves a lot of room in the tile. But filling that up with eyecandy wont be a problem for you ;-)

Will make them narrower .. some Eye Candy ideas could be:

The farm Objects has the Hedges and some of the smaller trees .. these might look nice along the far side of the Golf Tracks furthest from the fairways.

I could make it like a golf course I know of in Australia that has kangaroos on the grounds.

The VAST (Objects) has some Benches and Hedges and small shrubs too .

If anyone else has some eye candy ideas that could be included let me know.

Anyone know how to draw a Golf Buggy to fit on these tracks?

I change the layout to the Livestock Yards and included Pigs and change the Coaling so you can make what ever size you want.

Most places I know of that re-coaled Steam Locos was either the Coal Stage or if was only a small depot would use a steam shovel or men would shovel it in manually. Sometimes the coal be in a open wagon and would shunt this wagon along side the steam loco and shovel it from the open wagon. Do you know of any other ways and have some pics .. just maybe I can add those ideas to this as well.

As mentioned earlier like to see if I can make some Stock Holding Pens and loading and unloading platforms.

Here's the result at the moment. Has 2 shoots for loading stock and to unload they can unload from the wider centre section.

The main pens has a fake platform that sits on top of an actual platform. The Platform that is hiding under is from the DWE-Station - Industrial Terrain Tiles set.

The Fake platform is a 3 tile piece and there will be single tiles pieces to add to it with and without livestock. Will also try make sets for all 4 directions.

The Pens with the animals in I intend to change the fencing so they all match and interconnect.

The one on left with the train has 4 separate pieces the 3 pieces behind are individual pens. .. the one to the bottom right with out the single pieces.

Wow, that suddenly looks a lot better than the red one! I dont think you have to change the width anymore.

Couple of remarks when looking at the picture (dont have time right now to check out the entire GRF):

1. Strange black dots at the connection of some roadparts, I think it will look better without those.
2. In the T-junction, the part pointing at the seats has some dark lines in the texture, would look better without those.
3. Spotted this before, but not mentioned yet, The green in the Tee-offs has no texture, its the same colour. Try to give it a bit more texture.
4. Take the shading in account for sloped pieces. Shaded parts should be a bit darker, Sunny parts should be a bit lighter than flat pieces. This is also for the sloped fairways.
5. A tiny visual thingy ;-) One of the legs of the benches seems just one pixel too long. The one most to the left.
and change the Coaling
Again, just looking at the picture, there are some very bright greens on the outer edges of the coalpiles in two tiles.

Glad your got good eyes Quast65 .. some of those looking at the pic even though you have them circled .. still not see .. when I load them back up in the Graphics program and blow them up I hope will see.

No excuse for missing the green under the coal piles .. except I missed it some how .. can I blame you .. :) I been using your idea in the templates have a bright green or yellow sprite to boarder where I need to draw and remove later if I remember.

Not sure a giood texture for the T-offs .. looked at different pics on internet so maybe should be same as the green as the grass there very short.

I'll doing a few more things to the Stock Pens .. when I finish I'll fix the Golf and coal things.

I think some of those things only are really good visible when you place different objects next to each other ingame. In this case the black dots are somewhere on the outer edge of the single object tile. Its a good thing you are also able to code, that will hopefully make it easier to find them ;-)

I think using the texture from this tile (that I also mentioned some time back in this thread before the idea of mowed grass) could still work. Also to differentiate it a bit from the fairway and the green.

I discovered how I missed the green tiles .. I got to get used to the idea when change a graphics save it 3 times normal, Snow and Purchase .. I removed the green background in snow but not the others. Good thing we only human.

I should be in dream land now, but the stock pens have me busy .. hard sleep when got an idea turning around in side the noggin.

Done some additions to the Railsiding Livestock Pens. Can now make them as large as you want.

The loading/unloading platform and the tiles either side are one section. (If I can make it one tile just the loading/unloading platform I will). The rest are single tiles.
Need to put some creatures in the smaller pens next.

The Fences are the same as used with the Shearing Shed and Milking Sheds in the Farm Section of the Auz_Roadside_Object.

All pens in the Railway Livestock Holding pens can hold animals now.

The loading/unloading platform is now a single tile with a overlap platform to line up with the railway lines and other platforms. This platform will hide what ever other platform you use in game so will always see this one.

Also changed the loading/unloading platforms .. made one a bit high so can load/unload sheep and pigs from the upper deck of the wagons.

The Auz_Lineside_Objects has the new Railway Livestock Holding pens which can be found in the Freight Buildings. (One thing I just realised I have not included in this is a place for road Vehicles to load and unload livestock .. I'll look into that over the weekend).

I had a go making Truck livestock loading/unloading chutes and came up with this idea.

Very nice!
However, they seem to stick out a bit far into roads. Maybe also make a single chute version (with the chute a bit in the middle, so that it is just next to the houses in the roadstops) that doesnt stick out that far.

That idea deliberate as when see many pics on internet the chute sticks out from some stock yards and it will overlap the DWE grass platforms so looks good for trains.

The 2 chutes one is higher then the other to allow loading on the upper decks of trucks and stock wagons.

You idea being centre I think be good, but have them both side by side in the centre so they will line up with the dirt Tracks I made, and also do a version like you said where it not stick out like these do.

I shall give it a try see how they look.

Left and right of the pens is the new idea. The ones at back previous idea, which I thinking of removing the high chute, as many chutes had adjustable ramps that could be lifted or lowed to the desired height. So I think I will work on the same idea, and can be used for either trucks or trains.

What I been think of is to change the platform section. Remove the chutes off the platform and leave it for unloading. This will also allow you to join several together if like. I'll make new chutes so they can be used separate to the platform for loading/unloading.

Back to the drawing board.

Still changing things with the Livestock Pens and loading/unloading chutes.

I removed the chutes off the platform so they can be used singly. I put the chutes to the side rather then centre like the others so if like can put them right next to the platform or can have them apart like I shown here.
