Those roads are awesome! Best thing is, the colours *work* well with the US Set, and I assume they fit the bridges you made really well. Those roads are simply amazing!
Keep up the good work mate, thats some serious road-building talent!

Yeah, the colours sit much better in the game than any other road set I've seen. Good stuff :)

I see tunnels from TrafficSet,
as for roads, nice, I think EuropeanRoadSet could use the same patter for road
but I will stick to TrafficSet ... I like darker roads

These are absolutely the best roads I have seen in TTD!
Keep up the good work.

ok, enough licking done now. they look great, but note:
-as mentioned, the tunnels should be redone. maybe it's an idea to give the entries themselves a nice little (americanish?) makeover.
-some of the ramps aren't looking good yet. ofcourse this is due to the small amount of pixels used for the width, but it's only a suggestion. see what you can do.
-stop-lines for the (trainline)crossings would do nice. that is, if they're there in reality ofcourse.
good job.

really good job.
may be a little shading makes the yellow lines little less brigth, especially downhill in / direction they are to brigth.

norfolksouthern, those roads are incredible! Certainly we would like to have them released and included.
There was a previous attempt to do an American roadset, by Hyronymus. He did a lot of work on it but didn't finish. I think yours are better, but perhaps there is something he has that might be helpful to you. You can see the thread here:

...and the train signals?
I like those presignals in the right and upper right part of the screenshot.
Will they all be a part of the next USset release?
Edit: too bad the ends of the bridges don't match the track foundation color.

thanks for the replies.
i havnt been around in a while because ive been busy with other things, but i wanted to post these roads that i did really fast to dress up my previous ones.
i know i didnt finish the tunnels yet, but i did widen some of the bridge approach ramps.
as for the track foundation, that was just me playing around with greyish ballast, i dont really intend to keep things that way.
and for the signals, they are part of my searchlight signal graphics, i dont know if they will be out any time soon (unless of course there is really interest in them).

The US set needed new signals. I thought uzurpator was going to work on them, but I haven't seen any progress in a long time.
