Title mostly says it all, ive been playing this game since i was a kid and now im ready to try making my own content, mostly american narrow gauge most likely for myself. whats new in the modding scene? i remember a few years ago people were using MSTS2LOCO but i couldnt get it installed on my PC after downloading it on the walter1940 website(he has some great mods BTW). I got an 0x800004005 error code after dropping the .ocx files in my sys32 folder and running the install.bat. If anyone has some advice or some way to fix whats going on id appreciate it, hope your having a great day

Hello EW1997, I'm no expert at making mods, but I also never got MSTS2LOCO working. The modern approach is using blender to model, texture and render the appropriate sprites. There is a modified version of the RCT Graphics Helper for openLoco : https://github.com/OpenLoco/OpenGraphics Or you can setup all the camera angles in more modern version of Blender. For me the most difficult part is the application of the rather limited color pallet, while having the final sprites still look good.
It takes a lot of work to get good results. I hope that helps!
