Game crashing to windows

When I try to view the details of a particular train (only 1 train so far does it) the game crashs back to windows.
I'm using the USSet with patch 31
its a bit of a pain...
*edit: I just noticed it also happens when I go to the top right section of the map, and its happening in all my save games

try in this order:
- delete ttdpttxt.dat
- have you tried downloading again alpha31 ? (it was uploaded twice, second one got more stability)
- how it is working with older patches ? (
http://www.ttdpatch.net/src)
- post crashlogs from TTD directory (crash**.txt) and savegame

EDIT: the game crashes everytime I go to the topright of the map
EDIT2: Alpha 30 works fine
Got exactly the same problem in every map.

Heres the save game I first noticed it in (the train on screen when you load is the one that you can't view the details of) and my accompanying crash log.
I've tried to download another version of the patch but the site is running like a dog at the moment

I get the crash too, can't you send it to a depot, sell it and buy a new one ?
It could take a long time before patchman can fix this, if he can

well since it also happens when I scroll i don't think its just the train, so selling would unlikely help
*edit - went back to alpha 30 and it still crashes on that train so I sold it and now it works *sob and it was full of gold sob*

I still prefer alpha 29, 31 should fix bugs in 30, but as long as I hear there are problems I would stick to 29

I went to 31 and this is my first crash log

I found out why, it's when I go to the upper corner, rings a bell
So I downloadad sv1fix and sv1codec, put them in my game folder (c:\ttdx), copied the savegame there
Dragged the savegame on sv1fix and I get this error
How can I get a "\" between c:\ttdx and sv1codec ????

by Rob
Just use it from a commandline :
sv1fix C:\program files\ttd\trp07.sv1
where trp07.sv1 is your savegame located in directory C:\program files\ttd

It used to work just dragging the file onto sv1fix, I'm sure, but I'll try this way

Nope, sv1fix didn't help
But what is weirder is that all of my older savegames crash when I scroll to the corner, this didn't happen in alpha 29
As a matter of fact I just used alpha 29 again and my savegame works again
So it has something to do with this grf file: Svlinew.grf
This is one of those new stations, who can help me ???

Spiff, I just noticed the same, the SilverLine is buggy

I'm with alpha 30 now.
And I also use silverline stations, but I have no troubles with it what so ever.

Simple, you should read what the screenshot has, you haven't sv1codec installed or it's not in the same (working) directory and can't be run...

Yes I had sv1codec and in the same directory
Rob's suggestion works, however it didn't help me, sv1fix didn't find any problems
Now I have returned to alpha 29 without that svline082
I will not give up my current game just because I want wood stations, that will have to wait till that bug get's fixed
THERE DEFINETELY is a bug somewhere, svline082 doesn't work with alpha 31 on old savegames !

For me, svline82 can't let me play any TTD.
Starcraft is now the only working game on this computer. =\

you can play without svline82

Yes, but it isn't the same without those nice wood log stations

All new stations work fine on my computer
No crashes, no missing 'new ships' buttons...
