OpenTTD "Best Mods" Survey 2023/Q1

Every new player asks, "What are the best mods?"

Let's find out. Take the survey today. Results will be updated and reset every 3 months. Current submissions open until March 31, 2023. No personal information is collected. Only one response per person per quarter, please. Voting multiple times for your favorite set will only unfairly skew the statistics. There's no prize on the line for being the most popular.

Of note:

1. The Q1 survey doesn't include every possible NewGRF category. This is because I simply didn't think of it because I was tired and by the time I remembered, too many people had already answered. It will be updated in the Q2 survey.

2. Every category has an "Other" field for you to put in your own answer if one of the listed selections doesn't cover it. Please try not to duplicate answers that already exist. Please also refrain from entering "None" or entering nonsense answers.

3. I've had some ask me why some selections have grouped together multiple entries, such as Default game trains and OpenGFX+ Trains. I did so simply because I believe that they're similar in nature and there's no need to split hairs over every single set. You'll notice I didn't break down every possible Auz Object set. Just relax and go with the flow.

It has been told time and again that the best mod for new players is the vanilla game.

Also, it doesn't make sense to compare all economies against each other. To put an example, ECS and FIRS are, in essence, two very different games.

Not all vehicle sets are comparable either. Some of them aim for minimalism, others for representing a wide range of real-life vehicles (though I'd definitely recommend the first type unless you're into modelling real-life systems).

It's true that vanilla is good for new players to learn, but it's too boring for experienced players Although there are certainly exceptions.

I'd like to see a category added, which is "Best City NewGRFs". Towns with houses, stadiums, churches, hospitals, etc.

Something omitted: buses, track sets, road sets.
