Looks nice. Could you also change the other terrains (snow, desert, etc.)?

Ofcourse but hold your horses it's only beta 1!
These tilas can be used in ttd like custom ones and later can be madew as defoult for OTTD.

Sorry but I don't really like this. It looks too dark, and the 'crinkly' texture of the grass doesn't really fit TTD. It's as if it's been run through a solarize filter in Photoshop or something

Ooookay... the grf version is the only version that won't work, sigh.
*Tries to remember to fire up IE after finishing reading topics to download the grf.*
(Launching two browsers at the same forum will mark all posts as read for some reason).

I agree completely. Why is it so dark? It's obviously not for realism, as the fields not too far from my house aren't black.

A lot better, but I think the squares could be a little less obvious

Yes, that's much better than the default grass, but could you break up the grids?

I think the grids is ok. You shouldn't get rid of it all together. At the moment the grid lines look more like they are part of the grass, so it clashes with the light grass itself. Whereas the default grid lines look more like grid lines, so look better.
I think.
Either way, if you remove them, can you please keep a none removed version?
