Company colors in sets?

For Dutch trainset we've trains that contain a blue color. Because I wasn't smart enough to choose the correct blue color when drawing, most of the Dutch Trains are in player colors.
This means the trains are only in real colors when you select the blue color. Some people like that the trains are in company color and some don't. So that's why I started a poll about this. (Well, Lakie suggested a poll).
The reason why this isn't in Dutch Trainset Topic is that this is a decision that has to be made in several graphics set (I suspect).

I voted
Yes, I don't care about real colors
Because I prefer seeing which player owns that vehicle. (I don't have fences you see)
Also I like Green, and I prefer Having the colours of a company to having the same colours as every other player in the game...
(8 players, with the same train with the same colours can cause confusing for me...)
[edit]
You are going to have to add the votes for
~ No, I want the vehicles in real colors, even when I don't choose the blue company color
~ No, I see no reason to have them in company colors
together and compare to the sum of votes for
~ Yes, but only if the vehicles are in real colors when I choose the blue company color
~ Yes, I don't care about real colors

I dont really care about company colors. I rarely play with AI (or over the internet) so the company colors on trains are not important.

And the fence of railway is in company color so the trains don't need any company color.

What if someone doesnt have fences then ? This company colors 'issue' is a rather personal taste.

Purno.
Maybe you and Hyronymus should release 2 verson of this set then.
company colours version, and a non-company colours version.
But why people like having the same coloured train as everyone else, is beyond me.
Long live Green Trains.
I will make a screenshot to show you the difference.

Too busy atm.

Can't you just fill them with the correct colour?

I allways use green as my company color, so the blue-color-thing would be a problem for me

And I choose brown, because the station roofs will have realistic colors then

Does that mean you play with blue company color so that trains would have their real livery?

Yes we could do that, I don't know how much extra work it will be. Besides that, I haven't seen Hyronymus in this topic

What do you mean?
Saskia wrote:And I choose brown, because the station roofs will have realistic colors then
Does that mean you want the vehicles in real liveries or do you not mind if the vehicle color turnes into brown?

When new graphics sets first became available, I thought I'd want to use the company-colors. But after playing it a while, I found to my surprise that I preferred the realistic colors. I rarely play with the AI, but even when I do, it's usually not too hard to tell his tracks apart from mine.

And I play with fences, but even without them, it should be easy enough.
So, my position is that new sets should be released using realistic colors. If somebody wants to go to the trouble to convert them to support company colors, that's fine; but it's less important. When the US set was released, ChrisCF inquired about a company color version, and I invited him to make one. That was the last I heard of that.

Can't speak for Saskia but I use brown only because station roofs looks more realistic. With that said I personally prefer real liveries.
Besides, it's not that difficult to spot your own vehicles in the game amongst the AI vehicles. Its stupidity in network layout leaves a lot to desire, and if you happen to be just as bad at it as the AI - and for that reason are unable to tell which vehicle belongs to which player, then a break from TTD could be a good solution!

Well, the RegioRunner will, like other trains, have it's real color when selecting the blue company color. The question is do you mind that you have to use the blue company color?

I'd like to see all trains in company colors, otherwise choosing the company color has no point... its like if it became a useless feature. But it looks like there is too many of those real color fanatics...

I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head.

I use blue most of the time so it's not too much of a problem for me
but I voted "Yes, I don't care about real colors".
anyway it's not like I use custom vehicle graphics

Just to show you the vehicle that started all of this.
Blue is default (real),
then several others colours. (I prefer Green.

)

I agree, why destroy part of the game...
