I think you mean Workers and Tourists, passenger-busses do show up.
Workers and Tourists have a label that is not supported by all vehicle sets, if you like to use CC-busses, then use for example NARVS

2) no cargo trams
They were indeed not there in your save-game, however when I save the GRF-list and start a new game with that GRF-list the cargo trams do show up.. ?(

Could you check if that is the same with you?
Also check if they show up, if you just have OTIS and the Cargo trams in your GRF list.
3) alcohol is not accepted at the residential industry
That is a deliberate choice.
With this set, we dont want a direct link between Manufacturing Industries and Residential Industries (the link between them are the Shopping Centres).
For resorts, you could just use the Shopping Centre, as that also accepts/produces Passengers and Tourists.
If you want extra's, like for example Workers, then combine two (or more) tiles (so in this case, Residential + Shopping) and try to hide those.

Thanks for the reply, answers and ideas. I made a fresh game with the same NEWGRFs, and there were cargo trams. I am going to try another smaller map, use the idea of putting two industries down to accommodate stuff like alcohol being delivered and handling potatoes and vegetables.

Thanks again for putting this together.

After over 60 cargo's we just wanted to fill up the last couple of cargo-slots ;-)
We were not that original anymore with names, POTAtoes looked logical and it mostly refits vehicles like we would want.
You missed a trick by not using the label SPUD :wink:

But seriously, it makes it a bit tricky designing a vehicle set that's fully compatible with both FIRS and OTIS because potash and potatoes are quite different cargoes and it makes it impossible to give them different appearances and refits. Please consider fixing it :)

And before anyone calls me out as being a hypocrite due to my renaming of Kaolin to Lithium etc. in XIS, I realise it wasn't ideal. It was due to my limitations in editing the FIRS code and I'll fix it at some point. It's no huge deal anyway, it'll just result in slightly odd refits that the average player won't even notice...

I found the code TATO Vegetables (Potatos) 00A4 Express, piece goods, refrigerated .. but no idea where I got this code from .. it was way back in the early days of my coding, so whether it be better

May I also request changing the labels for Nickel Ore NICK to NKOR (to be consistent with Industries of the Caribbean) and for Cotton SASH to FICR (to be consistent with FIRS)

These inconsistencies make it hard for vehicle set authors to properly support this set, thanks :)

I'm fine with that.
If I recall correctly, SASH for Cotton was chosen so it would show up as a pile of white stuff for waiting cargo with CHIPS.
Probably same with NICK.

But I think the compatibility for vehicle-sets is more important.

@GarryG, If you post the Sources and GRF for version-4 here, then I will download it and upload it to BaNaNas.

I changed all references of the cotton code SASH to FICR and nickle code NICK to NKOR.

It my keyboards fault. It has a habit of making spelling mistakes and putting in the wrong letters. I haven't been able to get a keyboard that doesn't make mistakes.

Speaking of spelling mistakes .. what word do every one always spell wrong?

Here up date to Otis_v04 with Nickle being replaced with Nickel.
