Wires vehicles going 1 mph only????

So I have installed the NewGRF Wired and the things like Optical telegraph and the TELEX vehicles are coming out of the depot at 1 mph and its not accelerating or anything Am I setting up the service incorrectly or what?

What's the indicated speed when you purchase them? Vehicles that are set to move faster than some threshold don't get simulated right and end up going slow. (The threshold depends on the vehicle type: train, road, air, ship.)

If the 'vehicles' have weak stats, it could be the acceleration model you're using. In the game settings, try switching between "realistic" and "original" acceleration models and see if that makes a difference.
