SHADOW-XIII New Tool Creation
Select What You Need !! (first read the post)
Ok ... since my holidays started (hope so) .. and I already written egzams (hoep so went well enough)
it's time to make some programs
after some time I got few of them so it's up to you what you will choose
btw. Graphic Manager with TTDPatch 2.0.1 alpah 30 is ready and waiting for alpha 30 release (altough I am going to add to it version checking)
1) TT Reader ... this is tool which I started long time ago ... it was supposed to give quick information about files releated with TT, currently only works with GRF files ... it associate with TT files so after double clicking and of TT file you see small window with information about that file ... integration with Savegames, maps, cfg and other files are going to be introduced
2) Fast TPS .. this is tool for editing CFG files, it will show all switches on the list and you will be able to easy edit any of them with one box (enabled/disabled) and bar (where you set values)
3) Advanced TPS ... inspired on Andrex latest creation ... editing CFG files with colorization, like simple notepad but you will be able to set what and how can look like (bold, yellow .. etc)
4) TTDPatch Station Creator ... a tool which currently I don't know how to create well man learn whole life ... I suggested that I can try to create it after Purno's idea ... a tool for creating stations for TTDPatch newstations feature ... creating like puzzles
5) You want Other ?? well suggest (but first know that I would prefer not touch NFOs )

Now THAT would be really super - for GRF files, savegame files, scenarios, etc.SHADOW-XIII wrote: I am trying to give you possibility to click any file twice to see small window with all informations you need to know

people of small faith ...
I said it will work better than Owen's tool ...files will be able to have anywhere you will just double click it and see information (currently only GRF files are supported, later savegames and maps will show company informations, ai, money, date, game name, and maybe even minimap if someone helps me ... /me points to jfs )

Well, TTSGM already pops up a little window when you double-click a game... TTSGM 2.3 (unreleased) has a fair bit more information on games than older versions, too. TTDX Editor will likely also have a general summary window in one of the next versions, too. Yes, yours is a standalone tool though, OK. I may even build some of these features into the TT Shell Extension provided with TTSGM (and maybe release that separately). What would be very good is for me to be able to create a new column in the Windows shell with TT game names, GRF descriptions, etc - it's possible, but a bit of work.SHADOW-XIII wrote:people of small faith ...

Anyway, I voted for Station Creator, as it really would be quite good.

thanks spaceman-spiff
Gurluas2000, I don't get it ?? if you want to have TTO vehicles in TTD then just extract sprites and create a GRF file (how to create GRF file is at http://wiki.ttdpatch.net), if you wanna TTD vehicles in TTO then it is clearly IMPOSSIBLE (since there is no patch for TTO and noone will make it)
