Controllable Game Parameters

I think it would be a good idea to allow the player to have more control over the game world.
You should be able to change the following values through the patch gui:
- City growth rate
- City Radius
- Amount of goods to transfer to make industry expand production
- Rate of new industries appearing
That should allow a player to customize his or her experience. Some might want a challenge, and they choose a high value for the amount of goods you need to transfer to make an industry increase production, or low city radius. Others will want this low, to create monster transport networks and practice their networking skills.
Another suggestion in this direction is perhaps the possibility to fund the increase of production in producing industries, rather than just building another industry of the same type right next to it to achieve the same.
I am sure that there are many other values used in the game that might be used to tweake the game-experience. Controlling those would be nice.
