Build in Pause in multiplayer

My friend and I are playing multiplayer "coop" and we wanted to enable the Build in pause feature from the options, but its disabled and cant be changed.

Is it because we are on multiplayer mode?

Yes, it is intentionally disabled in network games. At least, from the GUI.

Thanks for the fast response.

I was trying to compile a new version removing this limitation, but my friend found a much easier trick. If you create a single player game with Build while paused enabled, save it, and then load that save in multiplayer, the feature its carried along.

Probably unintended, but handy.

You can simply save the game in multi, load it in single, do your thing, and load it in multi.
