Any suggestions for how to plan delivery of "booster" cargo in FIRS?

I've been racking my brain for ways to deliver the minimum amount of cargo in a given time period in order to guarantee Gung Ho production (at the drop-off industry) with FIRS but am coming up short.

I tried time-tabling at the drop-off stations to 1 day (the minimum) but unfortunately a train still manages to unload all it's cargo in that time. And I'm not sure if it's possible to use conditional orders in a way so as to monitor load / unload percentages real-time.

This new player would appreciate any tips!

Use a feeder. Bring a large amount of supplies to the nearby station (but not within the catchment area of the industry), then use a small truck to do the final delivery.

I usually don't care enough about the precise amount, and just add one or two wagons to take sufficient supplies to the industry, ie too much isn't relevant enough for me to bother about.

Use smaller vehicles delivering more frequently. Add vehicles to the shared order group until gung-ho is reliably achieved constantly. ;)

Small boats have least contention (nothing blocks ships even on busy routes). Trucks are also good.
