Hi,

Any chance for a setting to disable towns building roads on slopes?

I miss the old days of TTD and TTDP where a town would terraform to make way for their roads. Now it seems like they just build on any terrain because of the build on slopes feature.

You can hit tilde (~) key, which opens the game console.
Then you can type then hit enter. That disables the feature that lets anyone, including the buildings, to build roads etc on slopes.
Hit tilde again to close the console.

If you do that in the title screen, the setting will take effect on all future new games.
If you do that in a running game, the setting will only take effect in that current game, going forward - towns will not build new roads on slopes.

well, technically, it's dependent on your keyboard layout. it's always the key left of [1], but that key might be different for everybody.
