Station vs building rating.

Can anyone explain why my station can have a fairly good rating, but the rating of the surrounding buildings is awful...? I'm so confused.

Do I have to supply everything the building is capable of receiving for the rating to improve?

Ratings go down every time you demolish a building or a tree, and they go up over time from just servicing the town. Just leave it like it is and it will go up.

Either that, or don't worry about how towns rate your business. All it really determines is whether or not you can demolish more buildings.
