is it possible to change the colour of the cursor?

i am colour blind and find it difficult to see

Technically yes it is possible. You'd need a NewGRF for that and I don't know if there are any.

Check the in-game content downloader for a NewGRF that does that.

As far as I know, no such NewGRF exists.

This would be an excellent time for somebody with a little coding skills to help out somebody in our community.

This would be genuinely a neat thing to have. Even more fantastic would be if you can change the color from pre-sets in the GRF parameters option.

Alternatively, perhaps even build it into OpenTTD. This might be the sort of thing that'd see a bit of use, either because of medical need due to eye issues - or just preference. Although those that need it may not understand how to acquire it if its GRF only.

I've made a quick replacement of the OpenGFX cursors, you can try it and see if can be of help.
