I've recently downloaded Locomotion on Steam because my old installation randomly stopped working several months ago.

I launched it without issues several times, a few times with mods, but all of a sudden it started asking for me to insert the disk which it obviously shouldn't need. This seems to be a common problem as there are several topics about it on the Steam forums, all of which are unresolved.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

I know this is frowned on, but have yiu tried using one of the no-cd stuff that's floating around the internets?

I haven't, and I kind of want to keep it that way if possible. We'll see if Atari customer support ever gets back to me...

Well, I solved it by doing the same thing you always do when there's a problem with a CS game: compatibility mode.
