Selecting audio output device

Hi everbody,

i've got some Issue with OTTD and my PC. There are lot's of Audiodevices at my system: Realtek HD-Audio; NVIDIA Samsung TV (default), NVIDIA HMDI output, etc.

As far as I see OTTD uses only the default device for playback but i'd like having it similar to VLC-Player: There is a checkbox for selecting the device you want to use.

is it possible to do so with OTTD; did I simply miss the option?

Thanks
Torsten

with the "-s" command line argument you can set parameters for the sound driver. whether there is a (hidden) option to select the sound device, i do not know. and i have no way to check.

but if what you want is possible at all, it would be found there.

be aware that music is handled completely separately with the -m parameter, which has completely different options.
