Hola,
So I started playing a Southern England game recently and I've been attempting to recreate (even though very inaccurate) the rail system in my playzone. I started off looking at two of national rail's maps, the London map and the Southern England map as my base and using google maps and wikipedia to get more information about stations, routes, etc.
Obviously, you'll note, that I've never been to England because my rendition of everything is, if I guess correctly, incorrect... but I had and still having fun! yay! haha. And yes, I've went akimbo with the money and yes, its building in pause and yes still work in progress!
Anyways, without further delay...

More screenies
For London I had to move international/high speed service from St Pancras to Kings Cross (as you will note from the extra platforms at Kings Cross. The station alignments are also pretty off... but oh well ahha

Good screenshots. I think that without red explosions would be better

You got Blackfriars and Cannon Street slightly mixed up but space wouldn't really allow you to rectify that.

Very impressive. Look forward to seeing the trains running on it. Having once tried to lay tracks across the UK on OTTD myself, I can appreciate how hard it is to cram everything into London.
Have you considered getting track graphics with 3rd rail so you can make southern England a little more realistic?

Haha yeah. it is hard. I currently have a set of third rail but it doens't look as well as I would like it. Know any you can link me to?
and about trains, I'm still in the laborious process of timetabling every single train.... so yeah. Maybe I'll run a "fake" game with trains for now ahha

My opinion is that these are by far the best track graphics.

But each to their own...I'm sure others have their own preferences. All depends on what you think will fit the best.

Excuse me, but how does that timetabling thing work? I'm quite new to OTTD and have been wondering what these I've seen a few times are. I only know of the timetabling in days.

Hey mate,
So I'm using a patchpack that adds minutes to the game. I'm not sure how they work, but from what i know, the game interprets days as ticks (a unit of measure) and then we simply reassign days into minutes measured into a certain amount of ticks.... but don't quote me on this. I'm purely guessing here..
There's a patch I'm sure, just search up 24hr clock on the forums I'm pretty sure you'll find something...
