(25+4)k meeting

It's a bit ago and we have a reason to celebrate again: OpenTTD has reached 4k strings per language file and 25k commits have been surpassed recently, too. Time for us devs to celebrate. But of course we don't want to party alone. Every happy community member is welcome. By the way: at least two people from the last party became devs since then :-)

The question now is "when do we want to meet?". Several dates are available:
13 / 14 July
20 / 21 July

27 / 28 July
3 / 4 August
31. August / 1. September

At the chosen date we'll have an open-air party with cake, beverages and BBQ in Braunschweig, Germany. Exact location will be communicated in private to people who then actually can and want to come. I've created a doodle poll to evaluate which day / weekend might be the preferred one. Please enter there with your forum name: http://www.doodle.com/wvbc6kxg5va3pc6s (don't mind the time there - only the dates. We have all afternoon and evening).

Cheers,
planetmaker

If you do it on the 28th surely you can tie in and have a few minutes on Skype with the forum meet!

Wow, 25,000 commits is great :D

Congrats to every dev. of OpenTTD and thanks for all you do! I'm sure the rest of the community agrees with me when I say that. :)

Seems indeed that Saturday 27th is the preferred date for the party where all people who signed up so far can join in. In order to allow for early booking, the date shall be considered decided.

If you have any questions, please ask.
If you plan to come and haven't yet added yourself to the list of participants, please drop a note either here or add to the doodle your name so that one can plan for food and beverages accordingly.

orudge and I have exchanged our skype addresses. We've tested them out, so yes, there should be some skype session at some point :)
