Hey, you're back! Have you started the Indonesian station set? Check out my Java scenario as well (in my signature), and this set would be a great addition to it. Also check out the Latin American building set which is under progress, but it does have the slums and buildings that suit the scenario best.

If you haven't noticed, I do have some trials back then which never continued... If one want to draw and/or improving the current sprites i'll happily code them
(I was aiming at SE Asian trains through, seeing that our stock isn't that diverse.)

Here - Through that's mixed with the coding tutorial, I got my first station NewGRF in my thread I linked earlier by editing some available graphics (well, gave) and using the code from there and editing it a bit.

According to Wikipedia, the project was restarted in February.

Well, I still saw unfinished pillars last month (May 2013) when I visited Jakarta. But seriously, it takes AGES for anything to happen in Indonesia, such as the Jakarta MRT, Jakarta Outer Ring Road, increase of frequency of trains (everywhere in the network actually), Terminal 3 and 4 of the main international airport and I can go on and on.

Sorry, but was there actually a recent increase of train frequency? If so, when was it?

Other crucial infrastructure projects still not started/completed:

Trans-Java Toll Road (so far only Merak - Tangerang - Jakarta - Cikampek (with a branch to Bandung) is finished)
Sunda Strait Bridge linking Java and Sumatra (only planning stage I think)
Airport railway

Stuff under construction:

Full double-tracking of the northern Java railway line
New international airport in Medan

I've told you, I can't draw anything yet until I take those tutorials. When I'm able to do that, I will start drawing simple trains, then I might draw stations and buildings.

Honestly do not rely on the tutorials too much, getting your own experience is a lot better in this case. Of course the technical things like understanding how palette works are important though

Wouldn't it be wise to, Oh, I don't know, actually DO something with the Indonesian Station Set before starting another non-project? Posting single images and expecting others to do the work does not a project leader maketh...

Both what? There's no graphics for the station set and there's only one view of a train for the train set.
