Happy new yeah all

I've got the BR pack and My mate gave me his ICE Pack and the fastest train i have atm is the ICE 3 which is 209mph max is there anythin faster, also is there a way to keep the trains at full speed whilst turning corners or at least 10MPH slower because the ICE slows down to 101MPh around loose bends and 60mph around tight corners.

Tilting trains go faster around corners. (I think)

I don't know any faster trains.. But you could edit the train stats.

If using tight bends then their isn't much you can do to alter the speed. If I recall correctly each type of bend has a set max speed the train adhere to, though tilting trains can go faster around those bends than non-tilting trains.

The only way to edit the track per-say, would be to ensure you use the widest bends on each corner. Avoid gradient drops where possible as I think it has a 60mph limit. Also, when building bridges, ensure to use only the bridges that have unlimited speed restrictions. How many times your train has to slow and by how much will all depend on your track layout. It's obvious I know, but straighter, and flater tracks will incur less area's where the train will need to slow down.

As far as I'm aware, the APT is the fastest tilting train. I can't remember if I've seen the TGV in all my time of playing.

There used to be this night conversion thing with a train that could go 1000km/h for no particular reason.

It's been a year and 7 (seven) months since the last post and the original poster hasn't been back to the forums since that time.
Check when the last post was made before posting yourself and you won't get yourself in bother!

The original poster may not see it, but that doesn't mean somebody else in the future will not. Just because it's old news to you doesn't mean it's old to somebody else.

I agree with Kamnet. I would suggest that the moderating be left to Badger. (nothing against you Kamnet).

Sorry, but the Cohete TrenSim (http://www.trensim.com/lib/locomotion/i ... view&id=17) can do 20,000 MPH in Driver Mode. The only way the TGV Record can do 357mph is by using the said mode back.

Shouldn't that be 2000mph..??

You can do so fast each vehicle. This does not mean that is the real speed. Also, I've never heard of such a vehicle.

I downloaded it and actually gave it a try. It CAN go 20000 mph.

The only "20000" I see on the website refers to the power in kilowatts (kw). = 20000kw. The max speed is shown as 2000mph. Anyway, it's not a real train, just designed for Lomo.
