I've just isntalled TTD for windows and applied the latest patch. I go to make a new game and try to build something. When I go to build a new train, nothing is listed. I tried with road vehicles, and the bus is the only choice. I tried the Cht:resetvehicles and it didn't work.

This only happens when I use the Generate New Map option. If I go to the presets (like scotland for example), it works fine.

I took a screenshot of it.

The startyear of your game is 1930 or even earlier.
Without the proper sets loaded, like DB set, you don't have any vehicles yet.
Use the yearcheat : cht:year 1950, or download and install some extra vehicle sets.

Damned, not again (sorry for the entry word) . You probably started before 1930, that means there are no vehicles available yet UNLESS YOU HAVE THE DBSET. Then you do have some trains to choose from. Did you run a search on this particular problem on this forum or did you just post a message?

I did run a search, but I guess I entered wrong keywords or something. Thanks guys, I just left everything at defaults. I'll switch to year 1950.
