Oh... definitely nice models. But I have some little comments I would like to give as advice.
The position on the road seems a bit off though, as if one wheel is on the grass.
And is the MB200 really that small? In my memories it wasn't but it has been so long ago that I can't remember exactly.
The VDL Citea has only been introduced in 2009 and the Ambassador in 2002 and isn't out of service yet, and the other years aren't correct either. I assume you're fixing this? Especially because you linked to the wikipedia pages where I got this data from? All dates have an overlap so you can be sure you're never left without any bus.
Maybe this could help for info on older bus types?

Thanks! Feedback is always welcome! I'll address your comments one by one;

That's sadly a side-effect of my BetterRoads mod - those are a bit narrower than the default ones (for the sidewalks), and as such the buses seem to be a bit off center. If it really bothers you, I'd recommend using the default roads. Personally I can live with it.
IrmoTrainfan wrote:And is the MB200 really that small? In my memories it wasn't but it has been so long ago that I can't remember exactly.
It's probably bigger. I don't use the exact measurements when I make my models - I usually judge how large something is by looking at photo's. But I agree that in comparison to the other buses, it looks a bit short. I'll look up how long it really is and rescale it if necessary.

Yes, the time periods I mention in my first post are just rough estimates of the period I want to cover with each bus. I'm going to use the real dates for the ingame introduction dates. There's definitely going to be some overlap.
Thanks, I'll see if I can dig up some information from there.

I think your pics are more useful for him IA.

I also agree that the Mercedes Citaro would be nice, it's used by both the RET and GVB as well as by Connexion and on smaller scale at other companies like Syntus if I remember it correctly.
The MAN bus you linked is the Lion's City series. Qbuzz (Friesland&Rotterdam), Veolia, Connexxion, HTM use them.
Of course it's getting a bit out of hand, but these are the most used buses in the Netherlands together with the Ambassador if I'm right.
Also it seems like we could use the old standard buses of locomotion for the Netherlands as well if I look at those pictures.

Really nice!
Is there a way bendy busses could be made?
Or would that be too long and/or awkward in corners?
These are very common where I live

Thanks IA, that list helps me a lot. I've decided that although it's hard to get any specific information, I'm going for a 'spijker-saurer' for 1915-1930 and a 'saurer' for 1923-1940. These are much more about the appearance of the bus than their name/specs, so I'm taking a few artistic liberties with those. I still have to decide what to do with the 1940-1950 period. Other than that I'll probably also add the Mercedes Citaro to my to-do list. I've also updated the image in the first post with the new graphics I've been finalizing.
IrmoTrainfan wrote:Also it seems like we could use the old standard buses of locomotion for the Netherlands as well if I look at those pictures.
We could, but I don't like it. Call me a perfectionist, but my mission is to never have to use a default vehicle in any of my Locomotion playthroughs. I've already done a large part of that for trains with the NL Pack (more on that later) but I want to see how far I can get in accomplishing the same for road vehicles.

Bendy buses are possible and in the planning.

I've updated the first post with the current progress. I'm not adding any further buses - currently I'm going to focus on getting the stats right for these vehicles so I can release them, and afterwards I'll probably start a new mod project focusing on adding a similar amount of Dutch freight vehicles. It is my intended goal to never have to use a default vehicle in Locomotion again. So I'm not going to do any further requests for buses or liveries - at least not until I finish all of the 100 further projects I have planned.
I'll release the final version soon - promise!
EDIT: Version 1.0 has been released.

Didn't check back for a few days, but oh wow, these are so nice!
I really understand your perfectionism though, isn't a bad thing at all.

Ooh, how can I possibly resist adding a batmobile-bus to the set? The fact that it can go up to 250 kmh should also be interesting from a gameplay perspective. Consider it added to my to-do list.... and now don't tempt me to do more requests. I hardly have a social life as is!

Also the right height of the bus can be changed (speedbumps anyone?

)
Nah i dont have them for now, except some hidden ones for your next projects. (Including some trains/trams/metro`s

)
