I just had this brainwave (I accept congratulations

): is it possible to (ab)use the script framework to create cargo destinations?

Considering that one of the major problems with cargo destinations is excessive CPU usage I dont know if sticking it in the SQVM is such a good idea.

I am sorry to tell you that you are (by far) not the first to suggest that. I am sorry about that
More ontopic, I have little to add. Sadly

You can give out subsidies to users that bring cargo to the right destination.
If you make it the only way to make money (not sure if you can do that), I am sure people will take the bait

It doesn't have to be the only way, just a more interesting way.
