Although opengfx is a stunning achievement, I don't use it and I'm not interested in specifically supporting it. ;)

You could patch the grf, you don't need to touch nfo, just download source, paste the opengfx mud tile into the relevant pngs, recompile.

I agree, but I use some minor grf's, like trees and airports, that's about it!

And if you then submit the (git) patch to the project, it might be included with a switch :-)

Edit: on the other side, it doesn't matter if a grf with switch or a second grf...
Edit2: hmm, it does, you wouldn't need to maintain further dev

+1.

I have no objection to a parameter for this, I just have enough other projects to work on and almost no spare time so not going to code it myself ;)

:D Slick, gonna update the version in my running game; hopefully it won't break anything (silently or otherwise).

Me too :)

(edit)

Ive noticed that on the non track tiles if you build them from an electrified rail menu you get the cantenery sticking up. It not too hard to fix in game - just use it from a non-electrified menu - but it would be nice not to have to

Cheers

Bob

@Bob - good spot. Fixed in trunk, will be in the latest nightly. I won't release for a few days, waiting to see if any more bug reports show up.

Neat :)

Is it planned to include passenger and mail cargo graphics to the platforms?

For the full-tile sprite, it is the original TTD concrete tile (newgrf uses the sprite provided by the base graphics set). ;)

The track tiles I drew, for better or worse.

Surely you know what your set looks like anyway?
Have a screenshot :D . Those concrete platforms are great for integrating FIRS into stations!

This one shows why I wanted a NewObject version (it'll be finished eventually  )

I hadn't realised how well the stone foundations of the buildings merged with the grey concrete stations.

I would be nice though, to have the buildings on different foundataions
