This is a scenario at 2048x2048 size with hundreds of towns and thousands of industries. The original landscape was imported from DEM satellite data and merged with a google maps composite of water details. Then the rest was added manually.
To get the right look, i went for a full coverage of farm land in approperiate places, resulting in over a thousand farms, most located on the south west half of the map. For historic reasons, all 200 coal mines are around the Höganäs area, and the 200 iron ore mines are in the northeast, with the strongest concentration around Västanå. There are also almost 700 forests, the majority in the northeast part of the map. There are only a few secondary industries, around the larger towns, or outside in real world locations.
No NewGRFs are active. I've provided a version without industries, if you want to place them differently, or want to use a extended cargo set.
