Hello graphic specialists,

As some of you may know there used to be an animated pallette in the OpenTTD doc folder. It was removed in r20811 because it had some probems. Dithering and incorrect entries being two of them.
See http://bugs.openttd.org/task/4079 . Thank you yexo for the link.

Attached is the animated gif with the dithering removed and the incorrect entries corrected for the bottom layer.
Unfortunately I am not familiar with the animation colours. I hope one of you gurus can have a looksie and tell me if the animation needs correcting and/or if I made a misstake somewhere.

The attached pallete is pipetted, if that is a word, from the windows palette as found on the wiki page which I have also attached for easier comparison. When I feel like doing another 1024 clicks I will make the same image adjusted with the dos palette.

Todo:
- Animation colours need correcting?
- Maybe a version can be made afterwards without the OpenTTD reference to put on the wiki page as for TTDpatch they are the same palette?

Thanks in advance for helping,
Regards
ChillCore.

for reference, you could watch the palettes with TTDViewer

Thanks Ammler, I did not think of doing that.

I replaced the animated gif in the first post.
Changed:
- Colour 19 fixed.
- Colour 33 is the same as the bakground colour. The background colour used to be colour 40 when comparing to the old version. It changed when trying to fix another colour, colour 19 in the previous version I think. I can put that back if needed.
- Dithering fixed for the browns in the animation.

Todo: Check animation cycles and do the dos version.

I would also remove the "openttd palette", since openttd supports all palettes.

Already proposed once to use name full and reduced

full=(ttd dos)
reduced=(ttd win)
Edit: maybe using the "8"? (8full, 8reduced)

there is also a toyland palette btw.
