Hello,

can someone please help me with one question regarding scenarios?

I created a scenario but when I start it, I can build no vehicles at all - not even the standard ones.
I have to edit the scenario again and add an additional NewGRF like "old vehicle names" or whatever.

Is there a possibility get the scenario working without that "workaround" - so it works with only the standards that the game initially has?

What is the start year of the scenario? Default vehicles are only available around 1920-ish. If you want to start earlier, you indeed need a NewGRF of some sort.
It might be some other problem, but this is the most likely cause.

Most likely cause: you have removed a vehicle newgrf from that scenario. The warning is there for a reason.

well... shame on my if I have done so. Is there a possibility to re-add it then?

You can just add the same newgrf or as you already found out another vehicle newgrf.
