Adding New Vehicles to Existing Game

I know it's possible, as I'm sure I've done it in the past. But I recently downloaded a new pack of trains and I added them to the appropriate folders and such. When I go into Scenario Editor, I can see the trains available for selection. When I save the scenario with the new trains selected, they don't show in the game. I tested to see if they work at all with the beginning of a new scenario, and they show. Is there a step I'm skipping? ?(

Perhaps your train introduction date is later than starting date?

EDIT: Welcome to TT-Forums!

Okay... this you can report to the professionals. Or the train menu is already overloaded. I heard it can only hold max 50 or so rollingstock.

EDIT: trainset may be corrupted.

If, as your topic title suggests, you are trying to add new vehicles to an exixting save game you'll need to use LocoMod - Savegame Tool v0.2 (clicky). That should do it.

You've heard very wrong, you can select 225 objects per game.
You really should ask for more info before making such sweeping statements.

I've had a simliar thing happen to me in the past. What I did was tottally get rid of any mods and then re-install them. It worked for me.

I downloaded the OMNI pack. The US set I believe. I downloaded the LocoMod Save Game tool. Selected the trains I wish to have included in the current game, saved it, and still nothing. When I start a new game, the train sets are there, so I know the train sets aren't corrupted.

That has happened to me the way around it is you have to select it before it is invented. thats what works for me.

Did you select them twice? You have to select them under the ObjData tab AND the Company/Vehicles tab. In the Company/Vehicles tab, they will always be at the bottom. There are for me anyway.

I ran the game in fast-forward for a few minutes to see if any of the trains would pop up in their year of creation, still no go.
Yup, I selected them each vehicle twice. Nothing. =[

You arent playing an existing game arent you? Then your way doesnt work, only when starting a new one. Try savegame editor, see sticky`s. Screenshot makes it more clear though, give us some.
