automatic signal placement

Currently, its possible to place signals very quickly over straight sections of track by dragging and dropping. That's extremely useful.

However, if the track isnt a straight line this has to be repeated for each change in direction. For large maps, especially if track is built to conform to the terrain, this is a drag (excuse the pun).

I'd like a means by which I can automatically place signals along all the track between any two junctions or points, e.g. by placing a signal of the required type, then highlighting it and clicking a button. Any chance that this could be done, please - or is there a way already that I dont know about?

Try Ctrl+drag the signal in the direction you want to fill the track with them.

No it does not, signals are not placed on bridges or inside tunnels, the placement of signals, however, does continue on the same interval after bridges and tunnels.
edit: @ZxBiohazardZx, sorry, after rereading your post I guess this is what you meant.

If you need signals in tunnels or bridges, JGRs patchpack supports both.
