Wow, it has been ages for me to make a great scenarios.

Well, here is English / French rural seafront map with English / French towns. There are 49 towns under 600 residents scattered along the rough coastline. The map is very unsuitable to railroads as that it is too mountainous and rough coastline but it is ideal for road and water transport options. There are 49 towns, and 48 towns out of 49 towns are on coastline and only one town are further away from coastline and it's Lalor Valley and home to 3rd biggest farmland. The biggest farmland is at Syneham / Beach Hut area, not far from Lalor Valley if you look on map. The three biggest towns are Orebro, Fort de Florenac and Stevern and those three big towns are at the end of the river. There are only farm as industries in the scenario, if you want to make food, you have to build the food processing plant yourself when you play game or edit the scenario. You have no goal for scenario, it is mainly for eye-candy however, you can make passenger ferry services. There are few ideal spots in scenario for Ports or docklands. Be aware, there are many rivers and bays, valleys, mountains and ... too many trees! Also, be aware that this scenario have very very very very limited flat lands and only flat land spots are filled up by farm or urban developments.

Yes, I made them by my hands. It took me from 11pm to 12:10am to make this, including placing roads, farms, towns and changing mountains from pyramids to realistic detail-look mountains / valleys. No mods yes, I didn't add any mods. Just regular British scenario theme. But I'll make another copy of scenario with Illegal Alien and Andel's famous British Rail mod pack. If you want to make any changes and post it back up to website, you must let me know then I'll grant a permission.

It wouldn't be possible to make a train network in this map but it would be very interesting to play with.

EDIT: 4th Update of Orebro 1955 scenario is released and if you wish to download one of two files. First file is NO MOD MAP while Second file is MOD MAP. Enjoy

I just working out the possible routes. I just realised that train network is possible on this map if I work on mountains to make it suitable for train track, but will try and keep it more realistic. The red line on new map represent train track possible route and the black lines represent a new road connection from Orebro to Stevern.

There are farm at Stevern and 'possible' Food Proccessing plant at chosen site at Orebro and it could be good for food trucks from Stevern farms to deliver grains to Orebro Food Proccessing plant. also, the trains can carry grains from Syneham / Beach Hut farmland to Orebro Food proccessing plant through the just-named Coyote Pass, and through the valleys, mountains and gorges. After that, if either Stevern, Fort de Florenac or Orebro accepts food then I can transport food to those towns from Orebro Food Proccessing plant and make profit and make those residents get full tummy from pork from Orebro Food proccessing plant So yeah, that plan is not confirmed but just possible plans for grains to food proccessing plants. Even that there are no food proccessing plant at map, but if it is a good idea, then I'll add it and release it again, with the new copy of map with Orebro Food Proccessing plant, I will also improve the map by adding more realistic features.

People might take your text a bit more serious with fewer smiley faces..
I did notice that over 2/3 the map is water. maybe you could have scaled your bmp map or moved it a bit?

My apologies, I worked on that map during the midnight. Now, you may download it again. I changed the rar files and I incorrectly chosen wrong map but it is actually right but it is the map which it was before when I started.

Anyway, Plastik, I thought the British Rail was yours? Hmm I will take a bit of check on that. Yes, I know about in-game screenshots but I am too tired, I'll make aware of that next time. Ok, I can remove some smileys. Yes, and your point is? I want it to be 2/3 of land, so the people who download my scenario can make their own "island" or whatever they want. But this is only a starting scenario, the final scenario will be many islands around with a little more flat lands to make players challenging to play.

And again, my deepest apologies for wrong file. It is very embarrassed.

I've added two more parts of land in the scenario, and one new major town with the population of 650, it's actually largest town in the map Anyway, I've added 3 more towns on two new parts of land, also limited flat spots. But I'm thinking about adding three new parts and one part is slightly flat with few hills and it will be enough. And yes, I made them by my hands and a mouse, it took me around 30 minutes to make those.

I've added Orebro Food Proccessing Plant at Cape of Orebro (near Treegully) and cleared the lands and placed the docklands for Merchant ships to transfer the grains from Beach Hut / Syneham Farmlands. The scenario first ever Livestock Farm is built at Meadowbank, located at far south from main part of scenario. I've also updated the objective, you need to deliver at least 100,000 grains within 95 years and the starting year is 1955 and deadline is 2050, with 14 competing companies and all of competing companies only will build water transport. And this new objective and new things in map will be in the Orebro II Scenario, it will be far better than Orebro I map. Any suggestions for third version of map? More flat lands? Make the bit of flat land around the mountain for trains from The Beach / Syneham Farmlands to Orebro Food Proccessing Plant?

If you want to have only farming, etc on the map, how about you remove all industries except the ones you want in the scenario editor? or unchecking the box that allows new industries to start up during the game. I just played through three game in under 6 years, thanks to all the other industries popping up. BTW, this is the first proper version of the map you posted EDIT: now that you've updated the map, etc...

you mention that the ai can only use ships... can they achieve victory using only ships? without seeing the new map yet, is it possible for them to transport the grain using only ships? (I'm not sure where the grain destination is, or how close the farms are to the water. Could you upload a few screenshots from the updated map?)

I turned off the self starting industries in scenario editor.
And that's where I encountered a problem, you forgot to put in anywhere to deliver the grain!
So I added a few windmills and set off, not as hard as he makes out though...

Yes, this is a big mistake. I've fixed it on third version of map and I've placed two food processing plants at Orebro and Little Rock, I also established the train route through the mountains from Beach Hut / Syneham farmlands to Little Rock food proccessing plant and Orebro food processing plant.

I also unchecked some industires for third version of map and ensured that there are no mistakes. The fourth version of the map will be mod-included and the mod pack will be Andel and Illegal Alien's famous British Rail mod pacl, as that it would be interesting addition to map. The fourth version will also include more train tracks through the map from farms to food proccessing plants, and I think it would be more fun with trains not shjps.

And you are incorrect about ship, I did use trucks as well. There are farm at Brunswick, not so far from Orebro and I deliver grains from Brunswick farm to Orebro Food proccessing plant. The third version will be released maybe on Sunday as that I'm out to holiday at Gold Coast

Holidaying in the Gold Coast from Brisbane? Haha that's more like a day trip about 2 hours travel, right? Usually when we're on the Gold Coast we day trip up to the Sunshine Coast I guess that's us coming up from Sydney. Have fun anyway, don't let me spoil anything for you

Hello Guys! I worked on Orebro map, I've made two versions for 4th Version of Orebro 1955 Map. I also unchecked the Industries open and close down allowance off so therefore, there are only up to 10 industuries. I'll list a few info below:

Main Industuries:
- Epping Farmlands
- Beach Hut / Syneham Farmlands
- Port Orebro Food Processing Plant
- Orebro Food Processing Plant

Main towns:
- Orebro
- Stevern
- Fort de Florenac
- Meadowbank

On the 4th Update of map, there are two new part of land, I've expanded the "island" scenario and 3 new towns and 2 new industuries. The 1st version of 4th Update of map contains no mods and the 2nd version of 4th Update of map contains mods. So, make sure which file you choose to select. Both versions of map are same, same industuries, same towns and same goals. Here, I listed which mod I added for 2nd version of 4th Update of Map MOD LISTS
Andel and Illegal_Alien's BRITISH RAIL MOD PACK - Which it can be found here: http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?t=20039

I think I only chose two mods for it, which it is British Rail Mod Pack and Steve's Earth Slope. The first version of 4th Update contains no mods, so choose which file you wish to download.

Transport the grains options:

Trains - I also changed the whole train network from Beach Hut / Syneham Farmlands to Orebro Food Processing Plant, also changed the train routes, now you can deliver grains from either Beach Hut / Syneham Farmlands or Epping Farmlands to either Orebro Food Processing Plant or Port Orebro Food Proccessing Plant.

Ship - You also can deliver grains by ship from Beach Hut / Syneham Farmlands to Port Orebro Food Proccessing Plant, or you can choose to deliver grains from Brunswick Farmlands to Port Orebro, yes there are many farmlands which it is very close to coastline.

Trucks - The truck drivers wouldn't want to drive all around the map to Orebro But there are one possible truck route, you can deliver grains from Brunswick Farmlands to either Port Orebro or Orebro Food Processing Plant.

Hmm, I think that it is what I has to say. Anyway, any suggestions for any improvements? I will probably take your suggestions to improve for my 5th Update until the Final and official update for the map will be released.

MAPS: I spotted the some mod-glitches so I removed the map file and the map will be officially released tomorrow. Any suggestions for any improvements before I release them tomorrow.

Thanks for your feedbacks about the map. Yeah, it's my first time to make a map like that I always make boring flat map but until then when I checked out Techapi and Sherman Hill scenario and it when I wanted to try out like that so I made the Orebro map. I feel like to make another one haha.

No, if you download 4th Update of the scenario, which it is just above of you, it includes the train track around the map which you can build your train line on it from Beach Hut / Syneham Farmlands to either Little Rock Food Processing Plant or Orebro Food Proccessing Plant. You'll get what I means when you check map which it's on 2nd post of this thread or try out the game.

EDIT: You can see the train track which it is tan coloured line on the screenshots above. It is the ideal realistic train line from farmlands to processing plant.
